This is my favourite bakery in town! Every time I’m in Calgary I always have to make a stop here to pick up some buns! The bread is so soft and everything is always seasoned perfectly!
I visited several times so far, all are good!!! I love egg tarts, bbq pork bun, chinese doughnut, curry beef bun, pork floss spring onion bun, raisin pastry…. I love them all and am willing to return again. All were fresh when i bought them which I most love!
Excellent BBQ pork buns with decent amount of filling. Egg tarts are good, and I think the only place to sell a legitimate Hong Kong style pineapple bun (served with thick slice of butter!)
I have been going to the Maxima bakery in Vancouver's since I was a kid, it was nice to find that there is one near where I live now! I love the sesame and red bean balls as well as the hotdog buns, I wish they had the one with the mayo tho.
Maxima, 美芯is the one favourite bakery for the HongKong style sweet soft bread bakery, consistent flavour, right texture and freshness every time, we come here almost weekly and today we got these.
Great bakery, always very kind staff! I’ve gone there a few minutes before closing and they brought out pastries and even made me a Hong Kong style bun. Buns are soft, fresh and there’s a lot of variety. Always trying something new and never disappointed. If you go you must try the custard bun and the Hong Kong style bun. 100% my favourite bakery in Calgary!!

best pineapple buns in calgary, my favourite is the pineapple bun with a slab of butter in it 😤. pretty much anything you get from here hits - the tea eggs are so good.
One of the BEST chinese raisin bun in Calgary... love the buttery sweetness of the doh.. almost like a danish... That sweet buttery glaze on top just makes it more complete...
